Bestsellers get Bigger and Better for 2010

Fourth generation, family-owned, cane and rattan business, Desser & Co, are launching new and improved versions of two of this year’s best selling suites as part of their 2010 range.

The company has seen sales of their Elmy and Jakarta suites soar. They are as popular with stockists and their customers as they are with TV show interior designers. The suites have featured a number of times on ITV’s ‘Sixty Minute Makeover’ and Channel Four’s ‘Home Show’ this year.

Company sales director, Mark Stewart said: “We’ve seen great sales on these two very different suites so we don’t want to change them too much. We’ve listened to customer feedback and slightly changed the shape of the cushions on the Jakarta suite and used ‘reflex’ foam in the cushions making them incredibly comfortable. On the Elmy suite we are using a thicker rattan which is more durable and gives the furniture a better look and feel.”

Desser’s range for 2010 will be previewed at next month’s Birmingham Interiors Show (24-27 January).
